Finding Comfort: From Anxiety and Loss to Encountering Jesus OnlineIn many cultures—like Ethiopia and Ghana—names are more than just labels. They're stories, blessings, and prayers spoken over someone’s life. My Amharic name, Miheret, means mercy. My mother gave me that name with deep intention and purpose, just like parents have done for generations in Biblical times. Recently, I had the privilege of helping produce a powerful digital missions story about a young woman named Comfort from Ghana—her name, too, holds profound meaning. I first met Comfort at a digital ministry conference in 2018. A few days ago, her journey came full circle as we shared her testimony in a moving 7-minute film titled “I Am Comfort.” In this short video, you’ll see how God met her in a season of anxiety and loss—through her mobile phone. Yes, you read that right. Jesus met her in the digital space. Watch “I Am Comfort” now and witness how God used digital tools to transform her life. Comfort’s story is not an isolated one. Every day, thousands are finding Jesus online—right where they are. Through mobile devices, social media, and online discipleship platforms, people are encountering the gospel, growing in their faith, and being equipped to share it with others. Today, Comfort serves with our local ministry team in Ghana. Her journey is a powerful example of how digital missions can bring hope, healing, and purpose to those who need it most. We are so thankful to have you as part of this journey. Your support helps make stories like Comfort’s possible. Together, we are reaching the lost, discipling new believers, and multiplying impact—one digital encounter at a time. |
