 ካለፉት ሁለት ሳምንታት ጀምሮ ይህ የመፅሐፍ ቅዱስ ክፍል በዓይምሮዬ ሲመላለስ ነበር። ክፍሉም የመዝሙረ ዳዊት መጽሐፍ ምዕራፍ 126 ሲሆን እንዲህ ይላል፣ 1 እግዚአብሔር የጽዮንን ምርኮ በመለሰ ጊዜ፣ ሕልም እንጂ እውን አልመሰለንም። 2በዚያን ጊዜ አፋችን በሣቅ፣ እንደበታችንም በእልልታ ተሞላ፤ በዚያን ጊዜም በሕዝቦች መካከል፣ “እግዚአብሔር ታላቅ ነገር አደረገላቸው” ተባለ። 3 እግዚአብሔር ታላቅ ነገር አደረገልን፤ እኛም ደስ አለን። 4 እግዚአብሔር ሆይ፤ በነጌቭ እንዳሉ ጅረቶች፣ ምርኳችንን መልስ። 5በእንባ የሚዘሩ፣ በእልልታ ያጭዳሉ። 6ዘር ቋጥረው፣ እያለቀሱ የተሰማሩ፣ ነዶአቸውን ተሸክመው፣ እልል እያሉ ይመለሳሉ። አንዳንድ የመፅሐፍ ቅዱስ አዋቂዎች ይህ ዝማሬ እስራኤላውያን ከምርኮ በተመለሱ ጊዜ የተዘመረ እንደሆነ ይናገራሉ። በሌላ በኩል ደግሞ ይህ ዝማሬ ንጉስ ዳዊት ልጁ አቤሴሎም በትረ ስልጣኑን በጉልበት ለመውሰድ በሞከረበት ጊዜ ሸሽቶ ከነበረበት ስፍራ ወደ ኢየሩሳሌም ሲመለስ የተዘመረ መዝሙር እንደ ሆነም የሚፅፉ አሉ። እናም የግጥሙ ፀሃፊ የደስታውን ሁኔታ በቁጥር አንድ ላይ "ህልም እንጂ እውን አልመሰለንም" ብሎ ይገልፀዋል። ይህም የእርስ በእርስ ዕልቂት፣ የጦርነት እና የምርኮ ስብራት ቶሎ የማይጠገን መሆኑን የሚጠቁም ነው። በአሁኑ ጊዜ በኢትዮጵያ እየሆነ ያለውን መንፈሳዊ፤ፖለቲካዊ እና ፈረጀ ብዙ ተሃድሶ ህልም እንጂ እውን አይመስልም ያስብላል። የአሜሪካው ድምፅ ጋዘጠኛ ሰለሞን የዞን ዘጠኝ ጦማሪ አባል እና የሰብአዊ መብት አክቲቪስት የሆነችውን ሶልያናን በአንድ ዲስያፖራ ስብሰባ ላይ (10ኛ ደቂቃ ላይ ማየት ይችላሉ) በኢትዮጵያ በአሁኑ ሰዓት እየሆነ ያለውን ሁኔታ አስመልክቶ ጥያቄ ሲጠይቃት የመለሰችው መልስ “እያየን ያለነው ለውጥ ትንሽ ፈጣን ናቸው። ለመከታተልም ይከብዳል” የሚል ነበር። ሶልያና በብዙ የፍትህ ማጣት ችግር ያለፈች በመሆኗ አሁን እያየን ያለውን ሁኔታ የገለፀቸበት መንገድ ማጋነን አይሆንባትም። ምክንያቱም እንዳለችው እየሆነ ያለው ለውጥ እጅግ ፈጣን እና ለማመን ህልም የሚመስል ነው በመሆኑ ነው። ኢትዮጵያ እና ኤርትራ ጦርነት ውስጥ ከገቡበት ጊዜ እንስቶ ሁለቱም ህዝቦች አልቅሰዋል፤ለስደት ተዳርገዋል፤ ብሎም በሺዎች ሞተዋል። እኔም የማስታውሳቸው የጎረቤት ቤተሰብ ተለያይተዋል። ባል ኤርትራዊ፣ ሚስት ደሞ ኢትዮጵያዊ ሰለሆነች በጦርነቱ ጊዜ ባል እና ሚስት ተለያይተው እንዲኖሩ ምክንያት ሆኗል፤ ልጆቻቸውም እንዲሁ። ታዲያ በዚህ መራራ ታሪክ ውስጥ ብዙ ሲፀለይ ቆይቷል። እግዚአብሔርም ፀሎትን መልሷል። እንባም ታብሷል። አዲስ የሰላም ምዕራፍ ተከፍቷል። ይህ አዲስ መንፈስ በሁለቱም ሀገሮች ላይ እየነፈሰ ነው። ለዚህ ማሳያ በአስመራ ጠ/ሚ ዐብይ አህመድን ሊቀበል የወጣው ህዝብ ምስክር ነው። የሚገባኝ ይህ ደስታ ዋጋ የተከፈለበት ደስታ መሆኑን ነው። ይህ በሀገር ላይ የፈሰሰው ደስታ ለብዙ ወጣቶች ስኬት መስፈንጠሪያ እንድሚሆን ምንም ጥርጥር የለኝም። በዚህ ደስታ ውስጥ ዐይኑ የተከፈተለት ብዙ ዕድሎችን ማየት ይችላል። ስለዕድሎቹ ሌላ ጊዜ እመለሳለሁ። በተፈጠረው የደስታ ድባብ ውስጥ አዲስ ነገሮች ለማየት የሚጠቅሙ ሶስት መርሆችን ልጥቀስና የዛሬውን ፅሁፌን ልጠቅልል።

ምን አልባት የምለው ነገር ግር ያላችሁ እና የህይወት ጎዳና መራራ ናት የምትሉ በአጠቃላይ በቤታችሁ ሰላም ለናፈቃችሁ ከመርሆዎች ሁሉ በፊት ቀዳሚ የሆነውን የሰላም አለቃ ኢየሱስን ላስተዋውቃችሁ እወዳለሁ። ኢየሱስ ለደቀመዛሙርቱ እንዲህ አለ፦ “ሰላምን እተውላችኃለሁ፣ ሰላሜን እሰጣችኃለሁ፤እኔ የምሰጣችሁ ዓለም እንደሚሰጣችሁ አይደለም፡፡ ልባችሁ አይጨነቅ አይፍራም፡፡” እንድንፈራ እንድንጨነቅ የሚያደርገን ከበቂ በላይ የሆነ ምክንያት ሊኖረን ይችላል፤ ነገር ግን እግዚአብሔር በፊታችን ካለው ችግር የሚበልጥ ሰላምን ይሰጠናል፡፡ እርሱ ከሁሉ በላይ የሆነ ፈጣሪ እግዚአብሔር(አምላክ) ነው፤ እርሱ ለዘላለም ይኖራል፤ ፍጥረተ አለምን ሁሉ የፈጠረ ከሁሉ ነገር ጀርባ ሆኖ የሚቆጣጠር እርሱ ነው፡፡ ይህን ሁሉ ኃያልነቱን ይዞ፣ እኛን እያንዳንዳችንን በጥልቀት ያውቀናል፤ በጣም ኢምንትና አናሳ የሆኑ ዝርዝር ጉዳዮቻችንን ሁሉ ያውቃል፡፡ በሕይወታችን በሚገጥመን ነገሮች ሁሉ በእርሱ ብንታመን፣ ራሳችንንም በእርሱ ላይ ብናሳርፍ፣ ምንም እንኳን ከፈተናና ከችግሮች ጋር ብንጋፈጥም ያለ አንዳች ጉዳት እርሱ ይዞ ያሳልፈናል፡፡ ኢየሱስ እንዲህ አለ፦ “በእኔ ሰላም እንዲኖራችሁ፣ ይህንን ነግሬአችኋለሁ፡፡ በዓለም ሳላችሁ መከራ አለባችሁ፤ ነገር ግን አይዞአችሁ፤ እኔ ዓለምን አሸንፌዋለሁ፡፡” እርሱ የሁሉ የመከራ ቁንጮ በሆነው ሞት ውስጥ አልፎ ሞትን ድል አድርጎ ተነስቷል፡፡ በእርሱ የምንታመን ከሆነ በሕይወታችን በሚገጥሙን አስቸጋሪ ሁኔታዎች ውስጥ እጃችንን ይዞ ይመራናል። ከሁሉም በላይ ደግሞ እርሱ ከሞት እንደተነሳ ሁሉ በመጨረሻው ቀን በእርሱ የምናምን እኛን ከሞት እንደሚያስነሳንና ወደ ዘላለም ሕይወትም እንደሚወስደን ቃል ገብቶልናል፡፡ ኢየሱስን የበለጠ ለማወቅ ይህን ድህረ ገፅ ይክፈቱ።

 የችግር መፍትሄ የሚመነጨው ከግልሰብ እንጂ ከቡድን አይደለም በአሁን ጊዜ በኢትዮጵያ ልዩ የለውጥ ሞገድ እያየን እንገኛለን። ጠ/ሚ ዶ/ር አብይ አህመድ ሚሊዮኖችን ያማለለ ንግግርን እና ዕቅዳቸውን ለህዝብ በማሰተዋወቅ ላይ ናቸው። ስልጣን ከያዙበት ቀን ጀምሮ እየተገበሩት ባለው ፈጣን የስራ ክንውን ከተማረኩት ሚሊየኖች ውስጥ አንዱ እኔ ነኝ። የዚህም ክንውኖች ቁንጮ የሆነው ሀገራዊ ዕርቅ እና የአንድነት ጥሪ ልዩ ስፍራ የተሰጠው ጉዳይ ሆኗል። ለዛሬ ግን የማካፍለው ሃሳብ ወጣቶችን በቡድን ሳይሆን በግል የማነቃቃት አስፈላጊነት ምክንያቶችን ስለማሳየት ይሆናል። በዚህ የለውጥ ሂደት ውስጥ ልዩ ልዩ የወጣቶችን እንቅስቃሴ እየተመለከትኩኝ ነው። አዲስቷ ኢትዮጵያ እኔ ነኝ የሚለው በማህበራዊ ድህረ ገፅ ጠ/ሚ ዶ/ር አብይ አህመድ ጭምር የተሳተፉበት እንቅስቃሴ ልዩ ትኩርት ሰጥቼዋለው። ርዕሱ እጅግ የሚማርክ እና የጊዜው መልክት ነው ብዬ አምናለው። ይሁንና የሰማኋቸው ንግግሮች ሁሉ (ያልሰማኋቸው ደግሞ ንግግርች ደሞ ሊኖሩ ይችላሉ) በህብረ ቡድን መዋቅር ላይ የሚያተኩሩ ይመስላሉ። ይህ ማለት ወጣቶችን በአንድ ላይ በቡድን በቡድን የማየቱ ነገር ከፍ ያለ ስፍራ የተሰጠው ጉዳይ ሲሆን ይታያል። ከዚህ ቀደም በኢትዮጵያ ቴሌቭዥን ዜና ላይ የተመረቁ ተማሪዎች ተደራጅተው የኮብል ስራ መስራት ጀመሩ የሚለውን ዜና ስሰማ በጣም ነው ማመን ያቃተኝ። ስራ መናቄ አይደለም። ማንም ሰው ራሱን ለመደገፍ የትኛውንም ስራ ትንሽ ወይም ትልቅ ሳይል መስራት አለበት። ነገር ግን ልቤን የከበደው “አራት አመት በዩንቨርስቲ የተማሩ ተማሪዎች ተድራጀተው” የሚለው አረፍተ ነገር ነው። ምክንያቱም እኔ ዜናውን የተረዳሁት ድህነቱ አስገድዷቸው አልያም ከመካከላቸው በተማሩበት ሙያ ሌላ ስራ እንዴት መስራት እንደሚችሉ ማየት አልቻሉም። ወይም ጥሩ በእድሜ የገፋ ጠቋሚ አልነበረም ብሎ ማሰብ ይቻላል። ሪፖርቱ በዛ መንገድ ቢቀርብ ኖሮ ጥሩ ትምህርት ይሆን ነበር። ነገር ግን የአራት ዓመት የከፈተኛ ትምህርት ግብ የኮብል መንገድ ስራ ላይ መደራጀት ከሆነ የትምህርት ተቋሙ ዓላማም ያጠያይቃል። ከዛ ባሻገር ሁሉ ነገር አንድ ለአምስት ተደራጅ፤ ቤት እንድትሰራ ተደራጅ፤ገንዘብ እንድትበደር ተደራጅ፤ ዲያስፖራው ይደራጅ የሚለው ሃሳብ እጅ እጅ ብሎኛል። በመሆኑም ይህ አዲሲቷ ኢትዮጵያ እኔ ነኝ የሚለው ሃሳብ “እኛ” ከሚለው ሃሳብ የሚያወጣ እና እያንዳንዱ ሰው በተሰጠው የህይወት ዘመን “የእኔ” ድርሻዬ ምንድ ነው? የሚለውን ሃሳብ ኢንዲያስብ ፍንጭ ይሰጣል ብዬ አስባለው። ይህን "አዲሲቷ ኢትዮጵያ እኔ ነኝ" የሚለው ከአባባል እና ከጊዜያዊ ዕርቅ የዘለለ መሆን አለበት። ስሜታችን ተስፋ ስለሞላው የሚቀየረው ስሜታችን ብቻ ነው። ነገር ግን ያ የግል ተስፋ በተግባር መልካም ዓላማን በማስፈፀም ሲለወጥ አዲሲቷ ኢትዮጵያ እኔ ነኝ የሚለው ትርጉም ያገኛል። ታሪክን ስንመለከት ቡድን እንደ ቡድን የማስፈፀም ቅልጣፌን እንጂ ችግር የመፍታት ግኝትን አያመነጭም። በቡድን የሚሰጥ የውሳኔ ሃሳብ አለ እንኳን ቢባል አንድ ግለሰብ ከቡድኑ ውስጥ ሃሳቡን መጀመሪያ ሊያፈልቅ ግድ ይላል። ለዚህ ብዙ ምሳሌ መስጥት ይቻላል ይህ ድህረ ገፅ ወደ መቶ የሚጠጉትን ግለሰቦች በሁሉም የህይወት ዘርፎች ዘርዝሮአቸዋል። ባህላችንን ያየን እንደሆነ የተለየ ሃሳብ አንወድም ወይም አናበራታታም። አንድ ሰው በሃሳቡ ቢለይ ይገለላል። በንግግር ውስጥ ክርክር ሲሆን ወድያው ወደ ግጭት እናመራለን። ምክንያቱም ሃሳቡን ከግለሰቡ ለይተን ማየት አንችልም። ይህ የሆነው ብዙ ነገራችን የጋራ ኑሮ ነው በግል ብዙ ሃሳብ የለንም። ነገር ሁሉ በዕቁብ እና በዕድር መሳይ ቡድኖች እንዲያልፍ ይፈለጋል። ይህ ደግሞ ሃሳቦችን ወደ መደጋገም እንጂ አዲስ መፍትሄ አፍላቂዎች አላደረገንም። አንዳንዴ ገጥሟችሁ አያቅም? ልዩ ሃሳብ ይዛችሁ የመንግስት ቢሮ ስትቀርቡ ይህ ጉዳይ አይታወቅም፤ ወይም አይመለከተንም፤ ኮሚቴው ተነጋግሮ ምላሾች ሊሰጥ ይችላል የሚሉ ምላሽ በብዛት ይሰተዋላሉ። ምላሽም በድፍረት የሰጡ ግለሰቦች ይበጠለጠላሉ። ለምሳሌ አርከብ ዕቁባይ በአዲስ አበባ ከነቲባነቱ ብዙ ለውጥ ያመጣ መሪ ነበር። ነገር ግን እንደምሰማው ነበረ የተባለውን ቡድን ሸፈነ መሳይ ምክንያት ተሰጥቶት ከስራው ገለል ተደርጓል። ወይም እርሱ ይህን ያን ቡድን አይወክልም በሚል ተፈርጆም ሊሆን ይችላል የተነሳው። ይህም የሆነው መሪዎች በቦታቸው ቡድንን ወክለው እንጂ በግል አምነውበት ላይሆን ይችላል አመራር የሚሰጡት ማለት ነው። ነገር ግን መሪዎች በግላቸው አቅም የተሰጣቸው እና የሰለጠኑ ቢሆኑ ኖሮ አዳዲስ ነገሮችን ወደ መልካም አጋጣሚ በመቀየር ስጋቶችን መጋፈጥ የሚችሉ ይሆኑ ነበር። የችግር የመፍትሄ ሃሳብ በቡድን አይመነጭም። ሃሳብን ማጎልበትም ሆነ መፈፀም ከማመንጨት ይለያል።  ድር ቢያብር አንበሳ ያስር ይባል አይደል ተብዬ ልጠየቅ እችላለው። ነገር ግን ያ አባባል በኢትዮጵያኖች ሲመነጭ ዕድር ተኮር ችግሮችን ለምፈታት እንጂ ገብሬውን በበሬ ከማረስ አላሳረፈውም። ጠበአጭሩ ራዕይ ወይም የችግር የመፍትሄ ሃሳብ በቡድን አይመነጭም። ድር ቢያብር አንበሳ ያስር ይባል አይደል ተብዬ ልጠየቅ እችላለው። ነገር ግን ያ አባባል በኢትዮጵያኖች ሲመነጭ ዕድር ተኮር ችግሮችትን ለምፈታት እንጂ ገበሬውን በበሬ ከማረስ አላሳረፈውም። አንድ ጊዜ በገጠር የሚኖር ገበሬ ቄስ አያቴን ጥያቄ ጠየቁት። እስካሁን በሞፈር ቀንበር ስታርስ ለምን ይህን ነገር በሌላ አልቀይረውም ብልህ አስበህ ታውቃልህ ስለው የአያቴ ምላሽ ፈጣን ነበር። ለምን ብዬ አለኝ ምክንያቱም ሁሉም ገበሬ በዚህ ነው የሚያርሰው ብሎ ጨረሰው። አያችሁ የሱ አመለካከት የተቃኘው ተጋግዞ እርሻን ማረስ፤ ማረም እናም ደግሞ የለውን ትንሽ ነገር መከፋፈል እንጂ ተለይቶ የስራ ጫናውን የሚያቀልለትን ሃሳብ የሚያመንጭበት ዕድል ባህሉ አልፈቀደለትም። የተማርን ነን የምንለውም ያው ነን። በግላችን ባለን ዓላማ ሳይሆን የቡድን ሃሳቦች ይጨፈልቁናል። ችግርን ተቀብለን እንድንኖር አካባቢያችን ያስተምረናል። ጠ/ሚ ዶ/ር አብይን እንዲህ ፍንትው ብለው የወጡት የቡድን ሃሳብ ስለያዙ ሳይሆን የግላቸው ሃሳብ አጉልተው በማሳየታቸው ነው። የሁላችንንም ቀልብ ስበዋል። በመሆኑም ወጣቶች ምን በጋራ እንስራ ወይም ከማን ጋር ልስራ ብሎ ከመጠየቅ በፊት እኔ በግሌ ምን ላድርግ የሚለውን ጥያቄ ቢያስቀድሙ መልካም ነው። ይህ ጥያቄ ሲቀድም ወጣቶች በግላቸው አሰላለፋቸውን ማወቅ ይችላሉ። ከሌላውም ጋር እንዴት በሽርክና መስራት እንዳለባቸው ያውቃሉ። ይህን በሌላ ፁሁፍ እመለስበታለው። እኔ የተመረኩት በሐዋሳ ዩንቨርሲ ኮሚፒተር ሳንይንስ ነው። አስራ ሁለተኛ ክፍል ላይ ሳለው ነበር ምን መማር እና መስራት እንዳለብኝ ያወቁት። ትዝ ይለኛል የሚያበላ ትምህርት ተማር፤ ዶ/ር እገሌ ይህን ያህል ብር ይከፈለዋል አንተም እንደሱ ተምረህ ብር ታገኛለህ ተብዬ በተደጋጋሚ ተነግሮኛል። ነገር ግን ያን መንገድ አልሄድኩም። ብሎም በሙያዬ ወደ ማስበው የመንፈሳዊ አገልግሎት ስራ ለመጀመር ከ ኢትዩጵያ ቴሌኮሚንኬሽን ስለቅ ዕብድ ያለኝ ሰው ጥቂት የሚባል አልነበረም። ታዲያ ያኔ የሰዎችን ጫና ብሰማ ኖሮ ይህን ማድረግ የምችል ይምሰላችሁ ነበር? በፍፁም ለተገለጠልኝ ሃሳብ ራሴን ሰጠሁ አንድ ባንድ ነገሮች እያደጉ እያደጉ አሁን በዓለም ዓቀፍ ደረጃ ብዙ ሃገሮችን የድጅታል ስትራቴጂ ስራዎችን አመራር እሰጣለው። በዚህ ሂደት ውስጥ የጥቂት ግለሰቦች የሞራል ድጋፍ እና ፀሎት ትልቅ ደጀን ሆኖልኛል። የአንድ ግለሰብ ድምፅ ትልቅ አቅም አለው። ማስተጋባት ቀርቶ ተወዳዳሪ የሌለው ሃሳብ በግል እናመንጭ አስተውላችሁ ከሆነ የኢትዮጵያ የመንግስትም ሆነ የግል ሚዲያዎች ተደራሹ ቡድን ነው እንጂ ግለሰብ ሲሆን ብዙ ጊዜ አይታይም። ሁሌም ይህ ቡድን እንዴት ይሳተፍ፤ ይምጣ፤ ይቁም ነው እንጅ ስለ እኔ፤ አንተ፤ አንቺ የሚል ንግግር አሁንም ባዕድ ነው። ይህን ለማነፃፀር አንድ የምዕራብ ሚዲያ እና የኛን ሚዲያ የፖለቲከኞች የፖሊሲ አገላለፅ ልብ ብላችሁ ተመልከቱ። ይህን የምለው ለማበላልጥ ሳይሆን ልዩነቱን በደንብ እንድታዩ ነው። ለምሳሌ በአሜሪካ አብዛኛው ህጎች ሲረቀቁ እንዴት አንድ ግለሰብን ይጠቅማሉ ወይም ይጎዳሉ በሚል ክርክር ይደርግባቸዋል። ያንንም ፖሊሲ ተጠሪ አንድ ግለሰብ ነው የሚሆነው። የአሜርካ ፕሬዘዳንቱ ጭምር አንዳንዴ የሚሰጡት ምሳሌ የአንድ ሰውን ታሪክ ውጤት የሚያሳዩ ናቸው። በመሆኑም ፖሊሲውን የሚሰማ ሁሉ እንዴት ያ አዲስ ፖሊሲ ተፅዕኖ እንደሚያሳድርበት ማወቅ ይችላል። በቅርቡ ደግሞ ጠ/ሚ ዶ/ር አብይ አህመድ የአርቲስት መሰረት መብራቴ ስም በመጥቀስ እንዴት የእርሷ ተሳትፎ በሁለተኛ ደረጃተማሪዎች ላይ መልካም ተፅዕኖ ሊያመጣ እንደሚችል ግሩም ምሳሌ አስቀምጠዋል። ይህ ችግር ምናልባት አንድ ሰው ውስጥ ያለውን አቅም ያለማወቅ አልያም የባህላችን መጥፎ ተፅኖ ሊሆን ይችላል። ለምሳሌ መደመር የሚለው ሃሳብ የጠ/ሚ ዶ/ር አብይ አህመድ የተወደደ ሃሳብ ነው። እኔም አምንበታለሁ። ይህንንም ስል ስለ አንድነት እያሰብኩኝ እንደሆነ ይታሰብ። ነገር ግን መደመር ማለት የእኔ የግል እና ልዩ የሃሳብ መለያን ከሌላው ጋር መጨፍለቅ አይደለም። ይህ ማለት ቁጭ ብዬ የሚሆነውን መመልከት ማለት አይደለም። እንዲያውም እኔ በግሌ ምን ማድረግ እችላለው የሚለወን ጥያቄ በመጠየቅ ልዩ ልዩ የመፍትሄ ሃሳቦችን የማመንጨት ዕድል እንደተከፈተልኝ አያለው። መደመር የሚለው ለቡድን እና ብሔር ተኮር የሆነ አስተሳሰብን ለማስታረቅ ይጠቅማል ብዩ አስባለው። ነገር ግን የግል ሃሳብን አመሳስሎ መደመር ችግር ያመጣል። ይጨፈልቃል። የግለሰቦች መብትም ሊጣስ ይችላል ብዬ እሰጋለው። ስለዚህ መደመር የሚለው ቃል መዳረሻነቱ የግለሰብ ተሳትፎን የሚያጎለብት እንጂ የሚጨፈልቅ እንዳይሆን ልብ ሊባል ይገባል። ጠ/ሚ ዶ/ር አብይ አህመድ ይህንን በፓርላማ መደመር ማለት መመሳሰል እንዳልሆን ማብራራታቸውን አስታውሳለው። ለስራ የማስፈፀም ሂደት ስንሰበሰብ ትኩረቱ በታወቀ ዓላማ እና የግል ተሳትፎ በግልፅ በተቀመጠበት ጉዳይ መሰባሰብ ብቅርቡ ወዳጆቼ እስቲ እንቀበጣጥር (brainstorming) እንዴት ሃገራችንን እንደምንጠቅም የሚል ግብዣ አቀረቡልኝ። ልቤ በጣም ደስ አለው። ቀጥዬም ጥያቄ አቀረብኩኝ ምንድ ነው ያሰባችሁት ነገር ወይም ራዕይ ወይም የታሰበ እቅጣጫ ብዬ ጠየኩኝ እናም መልሱ አይ አብረን እንድናፈልቀው ነው ተባልኩኝ። ይህ መተባባር ያለ ትኩረት አቅጣጫ የትም አያደርሰንም ነበር የኔ መልስ። እያንዳንዳችን ውስጥ ልዩ ተሰጦ እና አቅም አለ። ያንን ደግሞ ማወቅ፤ማሳደግ እና ሌሎች ሊከተሉት የሚቸሉት ሃስብ አድርጎ የማውጣት ሃላፊነት የዛው የግለሰቡ መሆን አለበት። መፅሐፍትን ማንበብ አጋዥ ጠቋሚ ግለሰቦችን ከጎን ማሰልፍ ለዚህ ዕገዛ ሊያደርግ ይችላል። በመጨረሻም የግል ሃሳቦች ተቀባይነት እያገኙ ሰዎች በጋራ የግል ሃሳብን የማንሸራሸር ልምድ ሲያሳድጉ ዘረኝነቱም ይቀንሳል ብዬ ተስፋ አደርጋለው። ብዙ ሰው ስለ ብሔሩ ጭንቅ የሚለው የሚበላው የሚጠጣው በቡድን ሰለሆነ ነው ብዬ አስባለው። በቡድን ተራም ሆነ ቁም ነገር ሃሳቦች በዓይምሮ ይቀረፁና ግንፍል በሚለው ሲሜት አጀብ ተብሎ ስራ ሊሰራ ይሞከራል። ሳይሆን ደግሞ ሆ ተብሎ ለጥፋት ይወጣል። የግለሰብ ልዩ ልዩ ሃሳቦች ተጨፍልቀው ይደመሩና ብዙ የመፍትሔ ሃሳቦች ያለምንም ጥቅም ወደ አፈር ይወርዳሉ።
አደገኛ እና ጎጂ የግል ሃሳብችም ይኖራሉ። እነዚህንም በተቻለ መጠን ሃሳቡን ከግለሰቡ በመለየት የመቋወም ባህላችንን ማሳደግም ሌላው ትኩረት የሚሻ ጉዳይ ነው። ሌላውን በሚቀጥለው ፅሁፍ ላቅርብ••. ለረዥም ፁሁፍ እና የፊደል ግድፈት ይቅርታ እየጠየኩኝ እስቲ ምን ትላላችሁ የግላችሁ ሃሳብ በሐገር ላይ ምን ፋይዳ ሊኖረው ይችላል ብላችሁ ታስባላችሁ? እንደ ግለሰብ ይህን የምትግልፁብትስ መድረክ ልምዳቹ ምን ይመስላል። ከእያንዳንዳችሁ ለምስማት እናፍቃለው  Today is Thanksgiving.
I appreciate Thanksgiving public holiday here in America. Being thankful to the Lord in all circumstances is a wonderful discipline and blessing. Here are four things I am most thankful for this year:
 We just had great Indigitous hackathon events in 42 cities worldwide. This was the third time Indigitous hosted a global collaboration to create locally relevant digital tools and solutions to help fulfill the Great Commission.
My friend Russ Martin and I had the privilege to be at two African locations, Lagos and Accra, with a vibrant, smart Indigitous tribe. Collectively, these two cities worked on eight locally relevant projects. Russ and I encouraged participants on casting vision for Indigitous communities in West Africa, teamwork, and leadership skills as well as praying together for God to move. We know that there is no digital mission without the Power of the Holy Spirit, just like Bezalel and Oholiab were anointed by God to do some creative innovation way back in the Old Testament (Exodus 36:1-2). We operated in “African time,” where time feels plenty (which of course is not new to me at all). I learned that the Ghanaian lifestyle is easy-going and friendly. In Accra, when you ask someone, “How are you,” you might get a response, “I am shining.” In Lagos, Nigeria, a normal greeting conversation begins with a phrase like “How far?” And you respond, “How far?” This is a casual greeting to say “how are you,” and does not have anything to do with distance. During our strategic meetings with tech business leaders and church pastors in Lagos, all of us agreed that Lagos is a place with so much potential and challenges in breaking the iceberg of Digital Mission in Sub-Saharan Africa.  Today 100 million people in Ethiopia and Ethiopians around the world celebrate the new year on September 11. I would like to wish you a Happy Ethiopian New Year 2010!!! I am very occupied with the news of the hurricane Irma and all what is happening with it. My friends called me from Ethiopia to ask me about Hurricane Irma and to say happy New Year. Hurricane Irma is now hitting Orlando and my heart is very heavy for my friends and co-workers who are anchoring in Orlando and the entire Florida. As always I appreciate your prayers. A few weeks ago we had a fantastic Cru17 staff conference. In my new adventure of living in the US, I enjoyed the session discussed on ethnic diversity and how that is very important for our organization to help full fill the Great Commission. This topic could not have come at a better time as I am now living in a new culture, very different from mine.
God is a God of diversity! There is no duplication in His creation. He created us differently, with different colors, languages, cultures, and values. Often in ministry, we think one model, product, or strategy fits all. However, history has proven that such assumption is not the best way to do almost anything. Here is one example. Coca Cola is available everywhere except for two countries in the world. It is the most recognized brand worldwide. Recently, they tried something new with one video. Moreover, that brought opposition in some parts of the world for example in Kenya. Let me get back to missions. God's mission is all about life transformation. Paul was very instrumental when it came to taking the gospel beyond boundaries and connecting with the gentile world. Peter and others found it difficult to relate to the foreign cultures, that is why Peter had to see a vision three times before he got to meet Cornelius the Centurion. I am learning these three points that will help me to be successful in serving cross-culturally: Love people Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8I tell myself that I need to be a good learner of different cultures, not just for the sake of discovering but first and most to love people who are different from me. For example, one of the countries I prayed for and is learning about is Bhutan. I was very challenged just learning about them through this video on Prayercast movement. Listen My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, James 1:19I want to grow in becoming a good listener. My social media use perspective was changed after I discovered how I could use it as a platform to connect with people I do not know. That was by paying attention to things people are sharing and posting on social media and then share relevant content. That helped me when I conducted training in different places. I have grasped some connections points before hand to connect well with the people I get to meet in person. Recently, I had a Skype call with a stranger I met on Linkedin. First, I read his profile, watched YouTube videos, and updates on projects he is working on in Ethiopia, and I found it fascinating we met online. I intentionally follow technology news and progress in Africa. Depend on the power of the Holy Spirit "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8Moreover, finally, with my eight years ministry experience and travels to many countries, I found loving with compassion and listening well does not come automatically or just because of experience. It comes from being dependent on the Holy Spirit. To become witnesses for Jesus to reach the end of the earth it requires the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray that I become a lifelong learner of people and would allow the Holy Spirit to teach me and guide me in this process. If you have served or are serving in a new culture, what are three things you learned in your experience? 
Let me first start from the past. God at work from satellite to apps.
In 1985, Dr. Bill Bright, founder of our ministry, had the vision to bring 30,000 students from all over the world to one place for an intensive evangelism training week to help fulfill the Great Commission. It became Explo 85. Bailey Marks, pictured with me, was assigned to bring the 30,000 students to the US for this mega training. The logistics, visa process, and air transportation with a budget of $60 Million was an overwhelming task. The late Dr. Bill Bright and Bailey Marks and their team took the challenge to the Lord in prayer. While praying, Bailey Marks heard the word ‘Satellite’ which he had no clue at that time what it meant. He investigated and it took him a while to get the right person who knew how satellites worked. There was no Internet to Google and get instant results at that time. ? The voice Bailey Marks heard from the Lord changed the outcome of the Explo 85 campaign. God changed the plan of bringing 30,000 students to one place, into more than 300,000 participants in 98 locations world wide (with a $ 6 Million total budget) by using Satellite technology. God is Amazing! Today God is still using technology and countless digital platforms and Internet services for His glory. Just in 2015, we saw a total of 35.5 million users interacting with our 7 different digital platforms we have in Cru. 
As in Bailey Marks’ story from the past, God is also doing amazing things in our movement with apps and websites. Check out these five life changing mobile apps developed by our digital strategy team.
1. GodTools: The God Tools app provides a clear, concise and easy way to present the gospel and offers the opportunity to receive Christ in over 58 languages. 
2. Voke: Voke is a video-sharing app that uses short videos to help you start spiritual conversations with your friends. Get Voke and share what matters.
3. Jesus Film: The Jesus Film Media app allows you to share a variety of films about Jesus, both in person and online, in over 1,500 languages.
4. MissionHub: MissionHub is an app that is designed to help you organize, track and grow the relationships you have with others.
5. EveryStudent.com App: The Every Student app helps you answer real questions about life and faith from anyone God brings your way and shows them reasons to begin a relationship with God.

 I have encountered three more Uber drivers who showed a keen interest in what I have to say about Jesus. These divine encounters and some of the seminars I attended at Cru 17 reminded me of a well-known entrepreneur woman I met on the plane in one of Global leadership Meeting trip before I moved to Orlando.
I was upgraded to business class, I was looking forward to a good time of rest, but I had no idea what opportunities were ahead of me. As the plane took off, the lady sitting next to me asked me "What is Indigitous?" She noticed it from my wrist band. I explained what it meant and how I got involved in digital ministry. Her next question was "How do you share Jesus digitally?" How can I think of sleep when asked such a question? I excitedly showed her the GodTools app on my phone asked her "Have you heard about the Four Spiritual Laws?". She shook her head, and together we read through the laws up to Law three. She was interested but asked me to pause and continue later. After a few hours, our conversation restarted, again with a question. This time she asked, "how did you get involved in such ministry and when?" I told her that I got involved in high school, and told her about some of my experiences. Then we resumed on Law three. The third Laws says " Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin. Through Him, you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life." She couldn't accept Jesus is the only way. She believes all good ways have to lead to God. We had a long discussion about that. I felt pity for her. She has incredible knowledge about the Bible and Jesus, even the basics of having faith. But it was not easy for her to accept Jesus as her Savior. Her many ideologies and interest in other religions have caused her to see Jesus as just one of the many ways to God. I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to share my faith with her, that was my part, and now I leave the results to God. It's my prayer that one day she will clearly understand who Jesus is and accept Him. This fall our team is launching Indigitous Hack events in 30+ cities around the world. Indigitous is a global community engaging with ideas and each other to advance God’s Kingdom through innovation.
